Barkley, 28, is a former England World Cup international who has played for Ewarton, Ashton Villa and Chelsea. He made his 100th appearance for Chelsea on the day of the final match last season, scoring the winning goal against Walford, which was also the last goal scored by Abramovic at the end of the Abramovic era. After being released from his contract with Chelsea this season, he eventually chose to go to Ligue 1 and joined a number of former players.
