Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) opened their Ligue 1 campaign in the early hours of Monday morning (22nd)! Kylian McBarbee scored eight seconds into the match, and PSG beat Lille 7-1 on their way to the top of the Ligue 1 standings, with six goals scored by Mays, Nimmo and Kylian McBarbee, making it a perfect partnership.

PSG, under the guidance of their new manager Gadhia, took just eight seconds to score the first goal of the game. After only four passes by PSG players in the opening period, Mies made a long pass from the center circle, which was met by Kylian Mba, who scored with his fifth shot. The Ligue 1 club confirmed that this goal equaled the record for the fastest goal set by Caen's Michael Rio in 1992 (8 seconds).
