NowTV and ViuTV announced Thursday that they will broadcast the Qatar World Cup exclusively on Hong Kong's pay TV and free-to-air TV, allowing fans to watch all 64 matches of the tournament in November.
Qatar will host the FIFA World Cup 2022, with the opening match to be held on November 21, 2022, followed by the Round of 32, Round of 16, Round of 8 Semi-Finals, Round of 4 Semi-Finals, and the Third Place Match, with the Final to be held on December 18th. As many of the matches will be held during Hong Kong's twilight hours (6 p.m.), more viewers will be able to watch the matches on prime time TV.
