The author's personal notes on the game are shared, and I have accumulated enough content and ideas to share them in the hope that those who didn't watch the game can get a general idea of what happened, and avoid accidentally turning it into a running gag just for the sake of writing it. Since the content is relatively spontaneous, and the number of matches may make it lengthy, we'll just pick our favorite teams to watch! If you like it, please share it, and if there are any mistakes, please don't hesitate to comment on them!
Also, I have my own team to support, Manchester City.
Brighton
I will try to keep a neutral point of view when writing about the two teams, but it is very likely that I will unconsciously favor that team, so please forgive me! In contrast, I'll also try to keep a neutral point of view when I write about Manchester City.

1) Jesus often started the game by making a cover line grab, only to realize that his teammates didn't follow up at all, and the Eagles' passing options weren't blocked, so naturally the high press didn't have much of a pressing effect. I'm not sure if it's because the Arsenal's press system isn't mature enough, or because Arteta's game plan doesn't require much in the way of a high press. (Personally, I prefer the latter, because when Jesus shifted to the wings, there was the same slow feeling, and he would not start pressing until he was near the center circle.) While the defense could not build up any success, the offense did not, and they did well in several occasions, either pushing forward with teammates or breaking through the ball by their own ability. In the first half, after a break in front of the Arsenal, Jesus first used his body to carry the pressure to stabilize the ball, and then passed two people to reach the penalty area to complete the shot, Guehi blocked the shot, Martinelli missed the shot from the left side; in the second half, once in the right flank with physical confrontation to steal the ball, the bottom of the back pass to the insertion of Odegaard, hesitation failed to kick, was Schlupp back to the defense to destroy.
2) Zinchenko is not as good as Tierney on the left flank, but his coverage is better. Zinchenko can take a long pass from Ramsdale on the wing to break the first line of pressure, he can move into the midfield to give more passing options to the defenders, and he can reach the front to provide width on the wing, and he can distribute the ball in half space or cross the ball in the outside of the penalty area. Zinchenko has adapted well with the team, as seen in one of the Arsenal corners - Saka drove the ball to Zinchenko, who stole the ball from outside the area to the far post, and crossed it back to the goal, where Martinelli's header completed the only goal of the first half.
3) Saliba returned from Marseille on loan and had a very solid game, after Gabriel lost his first tackle, Saliba was able to act as a solid back up; in the second half, when Zaha's aggression increased and White started to feel the strain on his one man defense, Saliba was able to fill in or make clearances to help his teammates out. Saliba's 7 tackles were the most on the team, and he was recognized by the official Man of the Match in the final match.
1) Crystal Palace played in the Premier League last year
The bigger source of threat is the use of high pressing to convert the ball and launch attacks from threatening positions. So it's only natural to take a look at the quality of the Arsenal's backcourt passes in the face of the opponents' pressing pressure in this match. In the first 30 minutes of the match, Hyosung's possession rate was 64.7% and passing accuracy was 84%. These two basic statistics show that Hyosung didn't give away the ball to the opponents because of the opponents' pressing.
2) Ramsdale's passing was good in this game, as several of his outlets under pressure (or deliberately accelerated in an attempt to attack quickly) were able to accurately find the wingbacks in the clear. However, there was a crisis when Ayew was hit by a big kick, Gabriel picked up the ball and gave possession to the opponent, but the attack was eventually resolved without making a big mistake.
3) Zinchenko had a team-high 71 touches in the game, putting him on the map for City.
The characteristics of a settled possession left guard are perfectly replicated in the content of the Arsenal's game.
1) Crystal Palace's efficiency in pushing forward was poor, with almost the only one up front being Zaha who touched the ball relatively often, but was limited by White's oppositional defense. And the rush of long passes to find Zaha and the monotonous reliance on the intent of the starters gave them a passing success rate of only 75% in the first 30 minutes (88% in the second 60).
2) Poor pass control, then try to use the old standby: use high pressing to launch attacks from more threatening positions, such attempts and aggressiveness can still be seen, but the lack of execution, as well as the previous paragraph mentioned that the Gunners stable pass control, so that Crystal Palace can not get their way.
