Paul Pouba, who rejoined Juventus, suffered an unfortunate injury earlier and it was once rumored that he would be out for 4 to 5 months and would not be able to play for France in the final week of the World Cup. However, the latest news from the Italian media suggests that the 29-year-old midfielder has decided to undergo conservative treatment and will only need to rest for 5 weeks, which means that he will be able to play in the World Cup which will kick off on November 21st.

It was previously reported that there were two options for Paul Puba to choose from, the first one was a conservative treatment to remove the torn part of the meniscus, which would only require 5 weeks of rest. The other option is to suture the injured area, which is more radical, but the recuperation period is 4 to 5 months. Puba decided to choose the first option for the sake of playing the World Cup.
