Last season's Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) beat last year's Ligue 1 champions Nantes 4-0 in the early hours of Monday morning (1) in the Ligue 1 Champion's Cup to kick off the new season. Nima, who was rumored to be dropped by PSG, proved that he deserves to stay in the team by scoring twice and being named the highest scorer of the match.

PSG, playing on a neutral field in Tel Aviv, Israel, still had the upper hand in the match. In the 22nd minute of the first half, the king of the ball, Mace, put on a personal show, twisting the ball past Nantes' goalkeeper, Nafonte, and into the empty net. In first half stoppage time, Niema scored a penalty to give PGS a two-goal lead and send them to the locker room.

After the change of sides, Sergio Ramos scored with a dashing back-footed shot at the near post to bring the record to 3-0, and the Spanish stalwart became the oldest player to score a goal in the history of the Ligue 1 Champions League at the age of 36 years and 4 months.

Nantes' offense against Niemi Niemi in the penalty area resulted in a 12-yard penalty and a red card for Niemi Niemi himself. Niemah himself fired a 12-yard shot into the net to give PSG a 4-0 win.

Nima had 83 touches on the ball, made 54 out of 65 passes to his teammates, converted 2 shots on goal, and had a great range of motion, earning him a 9.1 rating from sofascore, a famous rating website.

The 30-year-old Brazilian international has scored 102 goals in 145 matches for PSG so far, making him the 5th highest goal scorer in the team's history. After this match, I believe the PSG management will be reluctant to sell Nima.
