A new format has been adopted for the numbering of football matches, which consists of the letters FB plus a four-digit number (e.g. FB1234), instead of the current format which consists of a specified day and number (e.g. Monday 1). The new match numbering format not only allows HKPF to provide bets more quickly, such as after the draws for major tournaments such as the World Cup and the UEFA Europa League, but also avoids the need to reuse the same match number multiple times, and is clearer and easier to understand, making it more convenient for customers to pick their matches.
