Arsene Wenger French soccer coach. He is currently the International Federation of Association Football's Global Head of Football Development. Arsene Wenger has been in charge of English Premier League club Arsenal since October 1996, and is the longest-serving and most successful coach in the club's history, as well as the longest-serving Premier League coach in the history of the Premier League. Arsenal's unbeaten run in the 2003-2004 season was a feat that no English Premier League team has yet to break. Arsene Wenger left his post as Arsenal coach at the end of the 2017-18 season, ending a 22-year career at Arsenal.

Wenger qualified as a coach in 1981 and began coaching Nancy in 1984, but the spell was unsuccessful and ended after three years.

Arsene Wenger is a controversial manager who has taken over player management, tactical execution, the transfer market and some commercial operations at Arsenal. From tactics to player diet to professional soccer culture, Wenger quickly began to reform a soccer team in every detail. As soon as he took over, he banned chocolate before matches, put an end to the notorious drinking habits of the players, and introduced scientific methods of training across the board. In addition, he changed the traditional Premier League's rigid defensive and midfield barriers and introduced the concepts of all-round and attacking soccer into the Premier League. In his first full season in charge, Arsenal won both the league and the F.A. Cup, and he became the first foreign coach to win the Premier League.

He's not bloody clinical but he can find a lot of players that fit the team and are cheap to train them into a household name, and since he doesn't splash the cash, the club is financially very healthy.

Arsene Wenger was still supported by Arsenal's senior management (especially financially), and the club managed to hold on to fourth place in the Premier League and one-eighth of the Champions League, even with the exodus of the main players. Then in the 18-19 Premier League season, it was revealed by the successor coach that the owners of Arsenal FC had not made any investment in the past ten years, and that the club was entirely self-financing. The fact that Arsene Wenger was able to lead the club into the UEFA Europa League and then the FA Cup every year despite having no external financial support and having to pay off the stadium's debt adds to the flavor of the legend.
