Winning and losing are commonplace, but for Chelsea midfielder Mason Monty, Wembley Stadium has been a hell of a place for him. He missed a crucial 12-yard shot in the EFL Cup final in the early hours of Sunday morning (15), which led to Chelsea's defeat.

The loss was the sixth time in three years that Mason Mount had lost a final at Wembley Stadium!

Mason Mount's first Wembley final came in 2019, when he was playing on loan for Championship side Tybee County and lost the promotion play-off final to Aston Villa, failing to lead the team to the top of the table.

He returned to Chelsea the following year and helped the team reach the EFL Cup final. He returned to Chelsea in the second year and helped the team to reach the EFL Cup final, but lost to Arsenal and finished as the runner-up.

Once again, hate.

Last summer, Mason Mount helped England reach the final of the UEFA Europa League, but they lost to Italy in a 12-yard shootout, their fourth defeat at Wembley. Chelsea reached the final of the EFL Cup and the EFL Cup this season, but were defeated on both occasions.
