Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford didn't stop during the international break, opting to work with personal trainer Ryan Hooper for extra training in a bid to get back to his best, according to a new report from the Daily Mail. The England international stayed away from the hustle and bustle of Carrington's training base and Old Trafford in favor of training at seventh-tier side Ashton United's Hurst Cross Stadium, apparently conscious of his form and hoping to get back to scoring goals that way.

Ryan Hooper is well known as a coach with RH Elite Coaching and has a strong reputation with both the United first team and young players. He has had previous successes with players such as Bruno Fernandes (B Faye) and Dalot, which certainly adds to Rashford's confidence in choosing him as his personal coach. Rashford will hope that by working with Hooper, he can see a significant upturn in form like B Fay and Dalot.

Looking back at last season, Rashford was the team's leading scorer after a stellar first season under Ten Hagar at United, scoring a total of 30 goals. However, recently his form has taken a significant dip, failing to score a single goal in his last nine Premier League matches. Such performances have undoubtedly worried both the fans and the club, but Rashford has not chosen to give up and is actively seeking a change.

With this extra training, Rashford is clearly looking to get away from the outside attention and pressure and focus on his own training and improvement. He hopes that by working professionally with Hooper, he will be able to find the right training methods for himself and rediscover the feeling of scoring goals in games. Rashford is undoubtedly looking forward to this weekend's game against Southampton, in which he hopes to usher in his own goal and contribute to the team.
