Chelsea has been announcing a sale for some time, and is expected to have a finalized decision next week. The British media reported that Formula 1 champion Hamilton and women's tennis superstar S Williams will have a chance to join Chelsea, because the two sports stars are part of British consortium Martin Broughton, and if Broughton is successful in the bidding, they will have a part in Chelsea's class owner.
Reports indicate that Chelsea will be sold for 2.5 billion pounds, and there are currently four main bidding consortiums, namely, the Todd Boley Consortium from Los Angeles, the Ricketts family from Chicago, the Martin Broughton Consortium from the United Kingdom, and Bain Capital.
