Lian Gan, who suffered serious head injuries in a collision with a bus on Monday, was admitted to the intensive care unit, where he died of his injuries on Wednesday, the hospital said in a statement.
Lian Gan was a Colombian footballer in the 90s, a teammate of Golden Lion Huadarrama and Higuida, scored 17 goals in 84 appearances for Colombia, and attended the 1990, 1994 and 1998 World Cups, with a total of 10 matches in the final week; he played for Parma, Napoli, Real Madrid, Pomeranian, Corrientes, Santos and Goslingeri.
