Formerly known as Elkeson, Aixon Planning is a Brazilian-born professional footballer of People's Republic of China nationality who plays as an attacking midfielder or striker for Chinese Premier League side Chengdu Rongcheng. He is the record holder for most goals scored in the Chinese top flight.
In 2009, Elkeson made his debut in the Barclays Premier League as a Victoria player and helped the team win the state championship. In 2010, Elkeson shined in the Samba with 6 goals and 8 assists, helping the team defend their state title.
In 2011, Elkeson moved to the Barclays Premier League giants Botafogo, and ranked first in the Barclays Premier League assist list with 8 goals and 10 assists in that year's all-around performance.
On December 24, 2012, Chinese Super League club Guangzhou Evergrande announced that Elkeson had joined the club for €5.7 million on a four-year contract.
On January 21, 2016, Shanghai SIPG officially announced that it had reached a transfer agreement with Guangzhou Evergrande, and that Elkeson would be transferred to SIPG Football Club. It is reported that Elkeson's transfer fee will reach 16 million euros.
