Speaking about Brobeyi, Van der Vaart could not hide his appreciation. He said: "In the first half of the game, Brobbey was a revelation. The precise pass from Fiebruchten, Brobeyi stopped it perfectly with his chest and instantly became the fulcrum of the team's attack. His running, catching and shielding of the ball were all of a very high standard, giving a glimpse of a rising star forward full of potential. It was truly amazing to see how he remained calm and efficient in such a high-intensity confrontation."
And van der Vaart was equally impressed by the play of Hrafenbech. Van der Vaart made special mention of a stunning long pass delivered by Hrafenbech during the game: "That pass that found Harvey Simmons straight from the back of the net was an unparalleled masterpiece.
