Fernando Costa, the president of the Bolivian FA, has recently confirmed that he is interested in finding Bielsa to be the leader of the Bolivian national team.

In a recent press conference, Ferrando Costa said he did not deny that he was in contact with Bielsa and hoped that he would come to coach Bolivia: "We have been in close contact with different coaches, listening to their coaching philosophy, and we have been discussing it with him (Bielsa) in great depth at the moment. Bolivia, which last made it to the final of the World Cup in 1994, was defeated 0-3 by Colombia in its last match outside the South American zone of the World Cup, and declared itself out of the tournament, so the South American team will need someone of substance to lead it if it wants to make a comeback next time.

In addition to his rich experience in coaching football clubs, Bielsa is also no stranger to coaching national teams. In the past, Bielsa was in charge of Chile and Argentina, and even led the Pampas Eagles to win the 2004 Olympic Championship, so he is very familiar with soccer in the South American region. Although he was sacked by Leeds United last month due to poor results, he has previously helped the veteran English club return to the club after many years.

Bielsa, who is still respected by local fans and the rest of the world, is not far away from making his comeback.
