I think they are happy with what they have achieved in the last 15 years. They used to be on top and it's normal for them to slow down. They are not smart enough to make the right decision to retire or go to a less competitive league. Some players decide to hang up their boots at the age of 32 or 33 to avoid being criticized in their old age. I hung up my boots at 36, but I went to play at 32.
