Italy national team manager Vincenzo announced the 33-player army list for the World Cup play-off against North Macedonia. Balodili, who was re-called in January this year, has not been able to win the heart of the manager and has been left out of the list this time. Sassuolo's frontline trio of Duvernay Gobelardi, Rasperdini and Scaramacca are all included in the squad, becoming an important new attacking force for the Italian army.

Balodili returned to the national team in January this year after a three-year hiatus, and the world assumed that Vincenzo was ready to use the 31-year-old striker to boost the Serie A's goal-scoring ability in their quest to reach the final week.

However, it's all a beautiful misunderstanding. Vincenzo has called up 33 players this time, but Pachen is not included. Instead, he has picked Cagliari's 30-year-old Brazilian naturalized soldier Zuopetro and Lazio striker Saccarini, who have not played for the national team before.

The rest of the strikers, including three Sassuolo players, Duvernay Gobelardi, Rasperdini and Schkamaka, have been outstanding this season, scoring 36 league goals, becoming the hope of Italy's goal-scoring.

Nembini, Ensign, Zorzino, Chiaronni and other regular starters have been selected. It is worth mentioning that center back Bonluxe is injured and midfielder Manuel Lucadilli has been diagnosed with Champions League Pneumonia, all of which have been called up, making it even more difficult for Pashen to make it.
