In order to improve their attacking power, they signed Danish star Christian Eriksen in the winter transfer window. Although he was unable to help the team to reverse the 2-goal deficit after swallowing red when he came on as a substitute in the home match against Newcastle United, he returned to the starting lineup in the next match against the Canaries and immediately played an important role, and became a key contributor to the Ivan Toney's hat.

The Bianconeri are in 18th place with 3 wins, 12 draws and 11 defeats (22-36 goal difference). Although they have been struggling in the relegation zone for almost the whole season, the Red Wine Army has been in good shape recently, with their last five matches.

Two wins, one draw and two defeats puts Everton just one round away from overturning the deficit with Ritz United, while also being slightly better than the Bees, who are just coming out of a major slump.

The last three matches between these two sides have all been won by Bonham, so Bonham will be looking to win this trip to Brentford Community Stadium.

Although Brentford successfully limited the ground game (Brentford's relatively more threatening way of attacking is still the traditional English long pass), but they also made a lot of misplaced passes and returned the ball back to them, so they could not push forward effectively in the first half, so they could only blame themselves.

Brentford came closest to scoring in the first half when Sergi Canós' cross from the left wing found Bryan Mbuemo at the far post, but the angle was too tight and James Tarkowski had to make a fine clearance, while Ashley Westwood's cross found Dwight McNeil with a header that went wide.

The first half ended with Brentford 0-0 Bonanza.

The quality of Brentford's scrum was stabilized after calming down in the lounge and gradually took control of the game, but were unable to find a breakthrough in the Pompey defence, and for a short while were outplayed by their opponents.

Maxwel Cornet caught Brentford's back-passing error to create a one-two punch, but David Raya saved it in a thrilling manner, while Jay Rodriguez, who came on for Wout Weghorst in the 67th minute, also had a superb shot at goal, but hit the bar.

Brentford brought in Yoane Wissa for Sergi Canós in the 75th minute and Mathias Jensen for Christian Nørgaard in the 81st minute.

After the goal, his teammates rushed to hug their Championship goalscorer and immediately embraced Christmas Eriksen, who made his first assist for Brentford.

The way Bryan Mbeumo, Ivan Toney and other Bees generals flocked to Christmas Eriksen was like a fan seeing his idol.

James Tarkowski picked up a yellow in the 89th minute.

Brentford brought on Frank Onyeka for Bryan Mbeumo in the 90th+1st minute.

In the 90th minute, Christmas Eriksen linked up with Ivan Toney again, stopping the ball in the middle of the midfield and directing it to Ivan Toney for a one-two punch into the box that drew a foul from Nathan Collins, who was immediately awarded a red card and a 12-yard penalty.

Ivan Toney himself presided over a blast to the left in the 90th+4th minute that even the keeper guessing the right side couldn't stop, making it a 2-0 buy for Brentford.

This is Ivan Toney's 11th of the season.
