In the Pacific Ocean, more than 5,000 kilometers southeast of Taiwan and south of the equator, there are 992 islands and 28,450 square kilometers of the Solomon Islands. The inhabitants of these islands, together with the aborigines of our country, are a branch of the South Island language group, and in the twentieth century they were both colonized by Britain, the country from which modern soccer originated. The British Solomons were seized by the Japanese Empire in 1942 in an attempt to cut off British Australia from the United States. The U.S. and the U.K. jointly fought the Solomons for more than three years to regain control of the Pacific Ocean. After the war, the Solomons returned to British colonial rule for more than 20 years, finally moving from self-governance to independent statehood, becoming the Solomons of today. 600,000 people are surrounded by sunshine, rainforests, sandy beaches, and in particular, 5,313 kilometers of coastline, which led to the prevalence of beach soccer in the past, and today there is even the Lawson Tama Stadium (Lawson Tama Stadium), which is green all the year round. Lawson Tama Stadium is now the home of the evergreen Lawson Tama Stadium.

Solomon Islands is one of our six remaining diplomatic relations in the Pacific Ocean, having established and maintained diplomatic relations with us since 1983. Solomon Islands was originally an overseas territory of the British Empire, and the British colonizers engaged in soccer in the area, which led to the Solomon Islanders playing the game. With the prevalence of rugby in the Solomons, the trend of soccer in the Solomons began in the 1960s and has continued to grow over the past half century. 1978 saw the Solomons formally gain independence from the British Empire, and the Solomons were established the following year.
