With the 4th round of the Premier League just around the corner, Brighton manager Hülzeler detailed his team's injury situation and new recruits in his pre-match conference, while expressing his expectations and challenges for the home match against promotion rivals Ipswich.
Hülzeler began with an update on the team's injury situation, stating that some of the injured players have returned and are working hard to integrate into the team after the international day. Milner, in particular, is still under daily observation with an uncertain return date, although scans have confirmed that the injury is not serious. O'Reilly, on the other hand, is showing good spirits and progress in his recovery, and the manager is confident of his early return.
Speaking about new signing Kadioglu, Hürtszler revealed the exciting news that the new signing could potentially make his debut in this weekend's game, which certainly adds new energy and possibilities to Brighton's lineup.
For the long term injury number Maki, Hülzeler showed great patience and confidence. He emphasized that he was impressed by Maki's professional attitude and recovery status, and that the team will provide him with the best environment and resources to help him return to the field as soon as possible in the best condition.
Additionally, Hülzeler mentioned Weifel's situation, stating that a decision will be made in conjunction with the team's doctors as to whether or not he will be able to play in this game, to ensure that the team's and the player's interests are maximized.
Speaking about the upcoming opponent Ipswich, Hülzeler said that although the opponent, as a promoted team, showed a clear game philosophy and style of play, it will be a tough challenge. He emphasized that Brighton will maintain their usual competitive attitude and demand to go all out to win confrontations, run more and sprint faster, no matter who the opponent is.
Hülzeler also pointed out that there are no easy games in the Premier League, and that Ipswich have a great coach and team that will attack Brighton hard. He called on his players to cope with the external expectations and pressures and to be at their best for this new challenge.
