Chelsea's defender Dulio Chalobah was hit in the lower body by rival midfielder Nabikida in the second half of the EFL Cup final. The 22-year-old Englishman needed stitches in the dressing room immediately after the match, which was horrifying to watch, according to the team's team leader Tuco.

The incident occurred during a midfield battle in the 60th minute of the second half, when Tullio Chalobah was quicker to get the ball.

Liverpool (England)

Midfielder Nabikida stepped on Chalobah's lower body, causing him to fall to the ground and receive medical treatment. However, the referee did not penalize the Reds for the foul, causing dissatisfaction among the Chelsea players. The good news is that Chalobah, who insisted on playing until the end of the match and scored a goal in the 12-yard phase of the shootout, went to the dressing room for stitches after the match.

Chelsea's leader Duchene also admitted that Chalobah did have stitches in the locker room: I went to the locker room after the visit and saw the doctor stitches in his groin area, and his wound was so big that his screams were so horrible, and I couldn't believe that he was able to continue to kick the ball around. Tucao continued that Chalobah is still in the recovery stage, and it is unknown whether he can make it to the EFL Cup against Luton.
