U.S. soccer club New England Innovation announced Saturday (12) that U.S. national team goalkeeper Matt Duaner will join the team this summer.

England Premier Soccer League

The 27-year-old goalkeeper, who will cost around £7.5 million, is expected to replace Germany's goalkeeper Bentenu as a deputy.

New England Innovation announced that the club has reached an agreement with Arsenal on the transfer of Matt Tanner, who is the 2021 USL Goalkeeper of the Year, to Arsenal at the end of June, pending the completion of medical tests. Matteana will continue to play for New England Innovation in the Champions League and the USL for the next four months.

The American goalkeeper, who won the CONCACAF Gold Cup last year, has started all six matches, and will serve as Lansdal's backup when he joins Arsenal, which means that the current deputy, German goalkeeper Bentonino, is likely to leave in the summer.
