Senegal beat Burkina Faso 3-1 in the quarterfinals of the African Cup of Nations in the early hours of Thursday morning (3) to reach the final for the second consecutive time. Senegal's star Shadio Vinny scored 1 goal and 1 assist in the match, a brilliant performance, and vowed to win the Cup to make up for last year's second-place finish.
In the early part of the match, Shadiovanni made a breakthrough and kicked the ball, but Burkina Faso goalkeeper Gauffi saved it. Senegal had a good chance to score, but Dean's header dipped out of the goal.
A controversial scene in the 31st minute, Burkina Faso goalkeeper Gao Fei out of the welcome knocked down Gao Yedi, initially the ball witnesses blew the penalty 12 yards, but after seeing the VAR canceled the decision, Senegal missed a chance to score.
Senegal finally made it 2-0 in the 70th minute when Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Aidoo Diallo scored from a corner kick. Just six minutes later, Shadio Vinny made it 2-0 with a pass to Izou Sagour, a midfielder who also plays for Paris Saint-Germain.
Although Burkina Faso scored a goal in the 82nd minute to make it 1-2, they made a mistake before the end of the game, and Shadi Owni made it 3-1 with a single shot.
