Former Arsenal captain Cameron announced that he is hanging up his boots, ending his 18-year career as a professional footballer. The 36-year-old defender has quickly found a new job, and will be joining the coaching staff of the Belgian national team, assisting manager Martinez in preparing for the final week of this year's World Cup.
Although Valmeren is Belgian, he joined the Dutch powerhouse Ajax Youth during his teenage years, and then moved to Arsenal in 2009, where he played for the Arsenal for five years, during which time he served as captain and reached the peak of his career.
