It's official, Everton's home game against Leicester City, originally scheduled for the early morning of January 12, has sadly been pushed back.

Leicester City did not have the full complement of players (13 available players and a goalkeeper) for the competition because of the new crown epidemic, injuries and the African Cup of Nations.

The League Committee accepted Leicester City's request.

The Committee evaluated the request for postponement based on the existing rules and guidance on postponement due to the outbreak, assessing factors such as the ability of a salon to field a team, the status, severity and potential impact of the outbreak within the salon, and the ability of the athletes to safely prepare for the competition, among other things.

Officials say the health and well-being of all involved remains a priority, and the coalition will continue to monitor and reflect on public health counseling, always proceeding with caution. In light of the recent addition of new crown cases

The league has introduced emergency methods from scratch. These protocols include more frequent testing, wearing masks indoors, and adhering to social intervals, among other approaches.
