In the 19th minute of the first half, Kane brought down Robertson with a rough sliding tackle in a defense, which once made Klopp on the sidelines waved his fist to express his dissatisfaction, and the referee showed Kane a yellow card for it. In the 75th minute of the second half, Robertson kicked Emerson with a violent action in a sideline defense, and was sent off by the referee after seeing the VAR and showing a straight red. The referee's deviation in the standard of his decisions in the first and second halves also sparked some controversy.
After the match, Kane, one of the people involved in the incident, was interviewed.
