With two points in third place, Robertson added: "We've played 14 games now and there's still a long way to go but we're still in the chase, still doing our best and it's important that we stay in the top tier of the table and things will brighten up gradually. We're going into a busy period and we're going to need a full squad to keep marching in the right direction, and if we do that then we'll expect to get there in the end."

The way the third goal was scored proved that he was at the top of his game.
Robertson stated: "Coleman is right around him, Pickford is narrowing his viewpoint, but it feels as if Salah is as if he has all the moments in the world. It shows what kind of shape he's in. I've always trusted him to score goals. I know how hard it is to defend him, I have to defend him in practice most of the time. He is an incredible player."

The first success in their last four derby matches, they suffered serious injuries to Van Dijk and Thiago in their previous match against Goodison before being beaten for the first time since September 1999 at home by Everton.
Speaking to the club's official website, Robertson said, "Last season was a shock in many ways. We suffered two serious injuries in the game here, the 92nd-minute winner was blown away for millimeters of offside, and then we were beaten at Anfield. The important thing is that we try to get this right this season. We only got a point against them last season and now we've won. The important thing is that we concentrate on the game, don't let anything disturb us and try to calm the crowd down. We knew they were going to be noisy at the start and that certainly helped us get off to a good start."
