England Premier Soccer League

The final game.

Arsenal (name)

In the home 2-2 draw Crystal Palace. In the match, the Gunners player Saka suffered a "leg-breaking" foul by the opponent's midfielder McArthur, which resulted in only a yellow card!

Sky Sports pundit Carragher spoke about the foul after the game, suggesting that the call was the fault of the referee and VAR.

Carragher said, "If a player tests a draw and an opposition player comes in from out of his line of sight to contest the ball with him, you can understand that it is normal to kick someone. I know what he (McArthur) was trying to do in that position, but it was in a situation where the opposition player was directly in front of him."

"If Saka had grabbed the ball from behind, you could say it was a normal scramble. But this was a situation where he (MacArthur) couldn't see Saka in front of him before he drew the shot."

"After the referee blew the whistle, McArthur probably thought, 'There's the whistle, I can't avoid this penalty.' But he still undoubtedly got away with it (the red card) in the end. Had he been sent off, I don't think there would have been any incomprehension on the part of the Crystal Palace players, Saka was in his sights."
