Goalkeeper Hillman was interviewed today by

The official website's interview talked about the team's starting goalkeeper Ederson and his own move to the

Manchester City football club

The reason for this.

Hillman stated, "Goalkeeping skills have changed so much over the years, it's like the same rule I had back in the day that required no return passes. What you're seeing is that goalkeepers now need to get used to coming out and catching the ball. When you have goalkeepers like Ederson who specialize in that skill, it helps a lot. There are some goalkeepers who do it very well, those two Brazilians (Ederson, Alisson) do it very well. In terms of Ederson, he's able to not only come out and receive the ball, but he's able to start an attack. He was able to make long passes and was very accurate."

"But not only that, his goalkeeping skills are very good. I really love his approach to goalkeeping. He's not a very flash goalkeeper, he doesn't boast, he just remedies, if he has to fishtail, he fishtailed; if he doesn't have to fishtail, he doesn't fishtail. Some goalkeepers make what we call 'camera saves': the ball is there, but instead of holding it, they do three backs and a flip. Ederson doesn't do that, he's my favorite kind of goalkeeper. All the kids are being told now, at a very young age, to play outfield so they can practice ball control and passing."

Speaking of the work done in the

of his career, Seaman said, "I loved my time here. After Wenger phoned to tell me I would be the third goalkeeper, I resolved to move from

s last game was the 2003 FA Cup final winning one, where I was captain against Southampton and lifted the trophy. Wenger also said: 'I want you to be my goalkeeping coach.' That was something I was really interested in, but then he said: 'The wages will go down by 75%.' I just started laughing and said I'll play somewhere else for another year!"

Manchester City

Both and Birmingham wanted to sign me, but I preferred Kevin Keegan, who I loved when he was coaching in England, so there was no doubt about it. It was my first season at the Etihad and I was waiting for it, just sadly I only stayed for half a season. But it was great to see

I was so happy when I won the championship. As a

The players, I know what that means to the fans. It's great to see what they're achieving now, it's pretty amazing. They're winning trophies, playing attractive soccer, attracting the best players. It puts a light smile on my face."
