The source noted, "The incident has shocked the whole dressing room and everyone is hoping the allegations are not true. Any allegation involving a child sex offense is taken seriously and it is clear that a full inquiry must be made into the matter. Allegations of this nature will cause a great deal of panic amongst everyone in the salon, the fans, and the public."
A Salon spokesman said, "We are able to confirm that we have temporarily suspended a first team player pending police inquiries. Salon will continue to support the authorities in their inquiries and will not make any further statement on the matter." The player's agent, on the other hand, refused to talk about the matter.
