AC Milan have bought Meinion from Ligue 1 and Donnarumma now has no way back in regards to a self-imposed move to Juve, the Italian goalkeeper is happy to lower his annual salary demands and as soon as the Zebras get the Buffon successor, their current star keeper, Szczesny, will be dumped, with the Polish international now set an opening bid of €40 million according to a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The former Arsenal and Roma goalkeeper is now under contract with the Serie A giants until 2024, with Juve winning seven titles in his four seasons of effectiveness for the side, and the Polish keeper has not been short of seekers in the market, with Premier League sides Chelsea and Everton both inquiring about his price.
Previous Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund are also on the lookout for a new starting goalkeeper, with Szczesny their top target, but the Hornets aren't hanging on to one tree, with two goalkeepers of the same 23 years of age - Stuttgart's Kobel, and Fiorentina's Dronkowski - on their list of reinforcements.
And just early this morning, the team announced the completion of Korbel's signing, agreeing to a contract through 2026.
