Leicester City's performance this season has been strong, until the last two rounds of the league began to slide, and ultimately did not have access to next season's Champions League. That's not all, the team's superstar Tillmans may be leaving the team this summer, Liverpool is likely to become its next home.
Tilemans, who just turned 24 this month, started for Belgian giants Anderlecht at the age of 16, moved to Monaco for 26 million euros at the age of 20, and joined Leicester City after a year and a half with the Ligue 1 powerhouse, at which point the transfer price had now risen to 45 million euros.
In his two and a half seasons with the Blue Foxes, Tilemans has been a sure starter for the team, scoring 108 times in all competitions, with 17 goals and 18 assists.
Liverpool's performance this season was almost the exact opposite of Leicester City's, first depressing and then rising, eventually using a winning streak to finish third in the Premier League and successfully securing a ticket to next season's Champions League. However, the team's main midfielder Wijnaldumann confirmed his departure, and manager Jurgen Klopp sees the young Tielemans as an excellent replacement.
