Conte has decided to leave Inter Milan, even though he has just led the team to this season's Serie A title - an achievement that is even more remarkable when you consider that the trophy had belonged to Juventus for the previous nine years.

The next question that logically follows is where does Conte go? That's the question on everyone's mind. The former Juve, Chelsea, Inter and Italy success story is bound to be attractive enough, but at the same time, he has been criticized for his somewhat eccentric or curmudgeonly personality, and is thought to have been unable to reach a long-lasting rapprochement with the club's hierarchy.

The Mirror believes there will be five clubs who will set their sights on the 51-year-old accomplished skipper:

1, Real Madrid

After a disappointing season at Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane's place at the Bernabeu is once again in turmoil. Although the Frenchman has never explicitly voiced his departure, he has implicitly stated, "Sometimes you have to make some changes."

At the moment, from the sound of the media, Zinedine Zidane's departure from Real Madrid is simply a "done deal". If he really chooses to move on, then left to Real Madrid can match the choice is not too much, Conte is obviously one of the impressive.

Conte, who has never coached in Spain, may want a new challenge in a different style, and the lure of being in charge of the world's most successful team isn't something that many can dismiss out of hand.

2, Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur are looking for a proper manager and Conte could be the one they want.

Conte had a very successful time at Chelsea over the two years 2016-2018 where he won the Premier League title and challenging for the Premier League order again could be a very tempting option for Conte.

Levy may see Conte as a "lifesaver" or a change agent, as Tottenham's 2020-2021 season has been a disaster, with Mourinho, the Europa League, Kane, and everything else making the place look like a mess.

Tottenham shouldn't have a problem in offering Conte a salary, but Conte and Levy, there could be a lurking bomb between them, I just don't know how long the two sides will be able to stay together. It will be interesting to see when this bomb detonates.

3, Paris

Will Paris abandon the ongoing Pochettino project in favor of Conte?

There are some who believe that Pochettino, after all, only took over the team this season and that Paris would not cut their own throat so much. But more voices are focusing on their results, they didn't make it to the final in the Champions League and they didn't even win the Ligue 1 title.

There are rumors that Pochettino is not having a good time in Paris, and if he is able to break it off with Levy and return to Tottenham, or even play a role in retaining Kane, then it's a no-brainer that Paris needs Conte.

So Conte at the helm of Paris is not a figment of the imagination, and getting it done just requires a small linkage between all parties for their own purposes.

4, Naples

If Conte wants to stay in Italy, then Napoli has exactly one position available there.

Napoli boss Gattuso stepped down immediately after leading his team to a fifth-place finish in Serie A and losing out on qualification for next season's Champions League, and even swifter than his dismissal, he quickly landed a new job in Fiorentina.

Napoli is a big club with a long history, and Conte may relish the challenge of taking them back to that peak era.

On the other hand, it's doubtful how attractive they are to Conte considering they don't have the Champions League to play in next season, and it's doubtful if they can afford his salary.

5, Porto

Another club of the same size as Napoli will also have a vacancy in their marquee: Porto of the Portuguese Premier League.

There are reports that Napoli are likely to bring in Porto boss Sergio Conceicao, who looks almost certain to leave the club this summer.

It also means that Porto could make a different attempt to be ambitious and invite Conte.

Porto have the Champions League to play in, which is an extra attraction for them over Napoli, while they also have a beautiful urban setting and for Conte there is the appeal of trying a new league.
