Manchester United's starting lineup for the UEFA Cup final is not expected to be overly surprising, however, injuries could change Solskjaer's lineup. The chances of Maguire playing against Villarreal are diminishing, and there are two other absolute starters, who are also plagued by injuries.

Maguire continued to struggle on crutches during United's Premier League match against Fulham, and it would be almost miraculous if he was back to normal in a week's time and able to take part in the fiercely contested final. And, in the midst of this game, United's two backs, Fred and McTominay, are both injured, however, Solskjaer believes that the two injuries are not serious and should be able to make it to the final.

McTominay was substituted early in the game, with Pogba returning at the back, and led to United being equalized by Fulham later on and having to accept a 1-1 draw result.

Solskjaer explained after the game that it was unfortunate that Scott (McTominay) had to come off and, after the game, Fred wasn't walking quite right. But we have eight days before the UEFA Cup final, so hopefully everyone who was available today will be available then.

As for Maguire, the otherwise consistently optimistic Solskjaer couldn't stop smiling: Harry (Maguire) has an injury we're still dealing with, but it doesn't look good.

In the final round of the Premier League, Manchester United will visit Wolves, the Premier League runner-up position has been determined, the only thing the Red Devils can fight for in the final round is to remain unbeaten and achieve the magical goal of not losing on the road for the whole season. However, this is not a must-have result, and there is an equal chance of achieving it with a substitute lineup.

Solskjaer says: There will certainly be quite a few changes in the line-up and we have to look after ourselves. We need to go to Poland with the best stamina and confidence. We need to train well, prepare well and let's see what we do on Sunday.
