Former Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero spoke highly of current teammate Erling Harland in a recent interview with Stake.com. Aguero not only acknowledged Harland's incredible goal-scoring efficiency, but also looked ahead to a future where he could break the records of legends such as Lionel Messi and Cairo.
Aguero said, "I've always believed that it's a great thing that Erling Harland is able to score goals consistently because it usually means that Manchester City are on their way to new title glory. His goal-scoring efficiency is simply unbelievable and it's remarkable that he's able to stay at the top of his game every season. I sincerely hope he can continue to perform like this and bring more victories to City."
Aguero is looking forward to Harland's future achievements: "Considering his current performance and potential, maybe one day he will break those incredible records set by Messi and Crow. Of course, this requires him to maintain stable play and continuous progress in the coming years. But based on the talent and hard work he's shown so far, I have every reason to believe he can do it."
Aguero also emphasized that evaluating a player's true achievements requires the test of time: "We can only fully assess what he has achieved at the end of his career. But for now, Erling Harland has shown all the qualities to be a world-class striker, and I'm sure he will continue to shine in the future and bring more surprises to the soccer world."
