
August 8, official news, 25-year-old former Shandong Taishan striker Guo Tianyu joined Thai Super League club Chiang Rai United.

Chiang Rai United FC reached an agreement with the player to sign 25-year-old striker Guo Tianyu and the player joined the team on a free basis.
Guo Tianyu was born on March 5, 1999 and is a striker. Standing at 192 centimeters tall, he is from Shandong, China and first trained with Shandong Taishan Youth and gradually upgraded to the professional level. He was loaned to Wuhan Zall and Vizela Portugal. For the national team, Guo Tianyu has represented China above the U16 level, but failed to represent the adult team.
In the upcoming 2024/25 season, Kok Tin Yu is ready to wear the No. 18 jersey and help strengthen Chiang Rai United.
Last summer, Guo Tianyu was disqualified from the Chinese Super League registration by Taishan for gambling. German transfers show that Guo Tianyu's contract with Taishan ended last July.

Guo Tianyu is 25 years old. Guo Tianyu joined the Luneng Taishan soccer academy as a child and was loaned out to Portuguese second division side Oriente Dragons in 2014.In 2016, Guo Tianyu was promoted to the first team of Shandong Luneng Taishan.
On January 27, 2022, Guo Tianyu was loaned to Portuguese Premier League side Vizela until June 30, 2022.In April 2022, he made his Portuguese Premier League debut.
In April 2013, Guo Tianyu was first selected for the U16 national soccer team, and in 2017 he was selected for the U20 national soccer team.
