The extra-long extra time in this match was incredible. You know, when Uzbekistan played Spain at the same time, there was only eight minutes of injury time. While eight minutes is a lot of extra time, it's still only half of what Argentina had to play in this match.
This extra long extra time was certainly an opportunity for the trailing team! Sure enough, Argentina lived up to their expectations and scored again in the 105th minute with 324 seconds to go (see below) to tenaciously draw level with Morocco.
The goal was truly spectacular and inspiring. First, a shot from outside the box was parried by the keeper, then a powerful follow-up shot, which touched the keeper and bounced off the post and back into the field. The Argentinean player leapt high and hit the crossbar with a header that bounced back again. In the end, Medina had great luck in front of the goal, as the ball fell gently over his head as if it had been passed to him specifically, and he only had to jump with ease to put the ball into the net.
The goal replay was in progress when Argentina equalized, and the referee then blew the whistle to end the game. As soon as the game ended, there was confusion among the fans on the field as players from both sides quickly returned to the locker rooms.
In other words, the final length of injury time exceeded 15 minutes and was close to 16 minutes. Even with several deliberate delays by the Moroccan team, they were unable to prevent their opponents from equalizing.
This Argentinean National Olympic team is similar to the Argentinean National Team in that it is one of the slow starters and doesn't really show their fighting spirit and strength until they are two goals down.
