
March 22, 2003 - The national football team was held to a 2-2 draw away from home by Singapore last night in the preliminaries. After the match, fans were entertained by the news that Singapore's captain, Harris Harun, was moonlighting as a real estate agent.
Harris Harun, 33, who plays as a midfielder and has made 102 appearances for Singapore, now plays for the Lion City Mariners and is also the club captain.

2008 was the toughest year of Harris' career. That year, he suffered a serious injury with torn ligaments and lost a year from there.In 2010, after being introduced by the then Singaporean coach, Harris went to Shanghai Shenhua for a 10-day trial, but did not sign a contract.
