Last weekend's CBA All-Star Weekend saw a total attendance of over 15,000 people at the Phoenix Arena over the two days. The All-Star Game had an attendance of 10,500 and the Star Game had an attendance of over 4,600.
In the first round of the new 2024 Chinese Super League (CSL) season, even the game with the smallest crowd, the home game of the promoted Qingdao West Coast team, had a crowd of 10,687. This year's All-Star Game, on the other hand, had a crowd of 10,500, yet less than any game in the new Chinese Super League season.
