Guo Shiqiang (郭士强), born in Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province, China, is a former starting point guard for the Chinese national men's basketball team, head coach of the Chinese national men's basketball team, former head coach of the Guangzhou Long Lions Basketball Club, and former head coach of the Liaoning men's basketball team, as well as deputy director of the Liaoning Basketball Administration Center. Uncle of Chinese national team/Liaoning point guard Guo Allen.

Guo Shiqiang is an organizational guard, known for his accurate mid-range shooting and offensive organization during his playing days, nicknamed the "Three Desperate Men". He entered the Liaoyang Sports School at the age of 9, joined the Liaoning team in 1993, was selected for the national youth team in 1994, and then the national team in 1999, and participated in the Sydney and Athens Olympic Games as a starting point guard. From 1993 to 2006, he spent most of his time playing for the Liaoning Men's Basketball Team (during which he was loaned to the Sichuan Men's Basketball Team for one year), and was twice awarded the title of "Assist King" in the CBA season.

After retiring in 2006, Guo served as assistant coach of Liaoning women's basketball team and head coach of Liaoning men's basketball team. With Liaoning's outstanding performance in the 06-07 season, Guo was able to join the coaching staff of the Chinese national team to assist Jonas. After the Beijing Olympics, he became one of the head coaches of the men's national basketball team together with Min Lulei and Adijiang, and guided the 2009 warm-up games as the head coach, achieving good results.

Guo Shiqiang as head coach led the Liaoning men's basketball team into the finals four times, the first three times all failed to return. 2018 April 22 evening, Liaoning Ben steel 4-0 battle swept by the champion coach Li Chunjiang led by Zhejiang Guangsha, to ascend to the throne of the CBA championship. On the evening of June 27, 2020, Guo Shiqiang, the former head coach of Liaoning Bensteel team, resigned from the club, and the club decided to respect Guo's personal will to accept his resignation.

On August 10, 2020, Guo Shiqiang was confirmed as the head coach of the Guangzhou Dragons for the new season.

He became the acting coach of the Chinese national team in 2024 and soon officially took over the overall duties of the national men's basketball team.
