On January 10, the Chinese Super League officially announced the 2023 season's Chinese Super League Disciplinary Marker, and Shenhua defender Yan Xinli, who has recently left the team, was elected.
During his time with Shanghai Shenhua, Yan Xinli went 27 consecutive games without a card in the 2023 season, which ranked first among all defenders in the Chinese Super League; he was also the only defender to go more than 2,000 minutes without a card.
