January 3 - Today, the Chinese Football Association (CFA) released a notice on the transfer registration of players in the Chinese Super League (CSL), Chinese First Division (CFA) and Chinese Second Division (CSB) for the 2024 season, which makes corresponding regulations on the transfer quota for domestic players.
Domestic player transfer quota
1. There is no quota restriction for new domestic players transferred from Chinese Super League, Chinese First Division and Chinese Second Division clubs.
2. For the transfer and registration of players from Hong Kong, Macao SAR and Taiwan, refer to the Notice of CFA on the Provisions Concerning the Participation of Players from Hong Kong, Macao SAR and Taiwan in the 2018 Professional League (Football Word (2018) No. 36).
3. Naturalized players shall be registered as domestic players for transfer, and other formalities shall be handled in accordance with the relevant regulations.
