Serbian head coach Milan Ristic announced on his personal social media that he has officially left his job at Meizhou Hakka.
Ristic in Milan - Ristic wrote: "I want to thank every fan of Meizhou Hakka. Thank you to the fans for being with me together, we have spent three wonderful years together. You have always given me a lot of support and I am deeply touched by the passion of every fan. The team and I will always be fighters, and we are fighters who belong to you, and you will always be in my heart."
"It's time to say goodbye, but I hope we get the chance to play side by side again. See you soon, Meizhou Hakka, thank you, I will always love you and we will meet again!"
In January 2021, Milan Ristic took over the coaching position at Meizhou Hakka and managed to lead the team to the Chinese Super League, where they were crowned runners-up. In the following two seasons, he managed to lead the team to achieve the goal of relegation in each season with his outstanding performance.
