In the first round of the UEFA Champions League group stage, Portuguese powerhouse Benfica traveled to Serbia to challenge host Red Star Belgrade. In this match, both players demonstrated a high level of competition and a strong desire to win, providing fans with an exciting soccer feast.

Soon after the match started, Benfica took the lead with their excellent attacking organization and precise shooting skills. In the 9th minute, Benfica organized an effective attack in front of the field, and Aktilkoğlu broke the deadlock with a cool shot from a teammate's subtle pass to the back of the net, helping Benfica to take a 1-0 lead. The goal not only set the stage for Benfica to win the game, but also greatly boosted the team's morale.

Benfica then didn't stop attacking as they continued to look for chances to extend their lead on the field. In the 29th minute, Kirkcrank showed his excellent footwork and precise shooting skills when he got a free kick opportunity. His free kick flew directly into the corner of the goal, leaving Red Star Belgrade's goalkeeper in despair. The free kick not only increased the score to 2-0, but also sent the Benfica fans into a frenzy.

Despite being two goals down, Red Star Belgrade did not give up the resistance. They stepped up their offense at the start of the second half, trying to find a chance to get back into the game. Finally, in the 86th minute, their efforts were rewarded. N'Diaye sent a precise assist to Milsson, who calmly dribbled past a defender in the penalty area and shot the ball into the Benfica goal. The goal not only brought back a point for Red Star Belgrade, but also gave them hope to turn the game around.

Unfortunately, however, despite Red Star Belgrade's tenacity and excellent attacking ability in the final stages of the game, they were unable to equalize in the end. With two first-half goals, Benfica won their first UEFA Champions League group stage match away to Red Star Belgrade with a score of 2-1.
