In the much-anticipated first round of the UEFA Champions League stage, Ligue 1 powerhouse Brest welcomed a fierce confrontation with Austrian giants Graz Storm. The match not only tested the strength and tactics of the two teams, but also became a landmark battle in the history of Brest.

At the beginning of the match, both sides showed a high level of athleticism, with rapid transitions between offense and defense, and the scene was extremely intense. In the 22nd minute, Brest broke the deadlock. Manetti captured a valuable long-distance shot outside the penalty area, he calmly adjusted his breathing, aimed at the corner of the goal, and fired a powerful shot through the defense of Graz Storm and straight into the net. The goal not only showed Manetti's excellent footwork and shooting ability, but also opened the door for Brest to win, making the score 1-0.

However, the Graz Storm were not discouraged as they quickly adjusted their tactics and stepped up their offensive pressure on Brest. In the 45th minute, there was a dramatic scene on the field. During an attack, the ball accidentally rolled towards the home goal, and defense player Fernandez accidentally hit the ball into the home goal when he was clearing the ball, resulting in an udon goal. This sudden turn of events instantly tied the game at 1-1.

At the change of ends, the two sides continued to battle it out. Brest, with the advantage of home ground, kept on attacking the Graz Storm's goal. In the 56th minute, Brest finally took the lead again. With his excellent physical fitness and calmness, Saima was able to overcome the interference of the opposing defenders in the penalty area, and turned around and shot the ball into the goal. This goal not only showed the individual ability of Sima, but also sealed the victory for Brest, and the score changed to 2-1.

However, the game did not lose its suspense. In the 87th minute, Graz Storm's Lavallee was shown a yellow card by the referee after he committed a foul on a shanked ball. As he already had a yellow card, he was sent off for turning two yellows into one red. This change put Graz Storm at a numerical disadvantage and took away any hope of an equalizer.

Finally, with a whistle from the referee, the match was over. Brest beat Graz Storm 2-1 thanks to a long range effort from Manetti and a killer goal from Sima to secure their first Champions League win in the team's history.
