Manchester United striker Zylkiser has spoken highly of two of the team's key figures - legendary striker Ruud van Nistelrooy and teammate Derek De Ligt - in a recent interview. Talking about working with Van Nistelrooy in training, Zilkzer appeared both excited and cautious, stating, "Working with Van Nistelrooy has been a very valuable experience. Although I can't reveal too many details, what I can say is that it was a great time for me. Fanny was a top striker and his meticulousness in his work was admirable. We often watched game footage together, reviewing and analyzing our performances. His unique way of teaching allowed me to understand and absorb the points he imparted more quickly and I really learned a lot of valuable things from him."
In addition, Zielkirchzer made special mention of teammate Derek De Ligt's wonderful goal against Southampton. He exclaimed, "It was great to see De Ligt score! Mathis is not only a good friend of mine at Manchester United, but also a close comrade of mine in the Dutch national team. I was almost right next to him when he scored and almost got kicked in the face by his celebration, but it didn't stop me from being genuinely happy for him. De Ligt has been going through a tough time lately because of some of the things that have happened to him with the Dutch team and there have been some unfair reports about him in the media, but I've always been confident that these won't really affect him. I'm happy to see him regaining his form at United and his performances are vital for our whole team. The return of De Ligt has brought us closer together and given us confidence for the future."
