Crystal Palace will host Manchester United in the upcoming EPL 5th round match on Sunday at 0:30am Beijing time. Prior to the match, Crystal Palace manager Glasner expressed his views on recent hot topics and match preparation in a press conference.

Responding to Leicester City boss Steve Cooper's questioning of VAR calls in last week's game, Glasner said, "We're well prepared for the upcoming games and there's no point in discussing past calls. Whether it's in our favor or against us, it's all part of the game of soccer. What we need to focus on now is how to get a good result against Manchester United."

Talking about the upcoming match against Manchester United, Glasner emphasized the power of Manchester United: "Manchester United has brought in a lot of good players in the summer window, and their attacking ability is very good. But we also know that as long as we defend properly, we have the chance to create and seize the opportunity to score. We beat them 4-0 at home last season, but that wasn't our best performance. This game, we need to be more focused and efficient."

Glasner recognized the team's recent performance in the attacking end, and specifically mentioned the performances of Nketiah and Mata: "Nketiah is a very intelligent player who can play in several positions and has excellent finishing ability. Mata is a very ambitious striker and his finishing is unbelievable. We need to continue to play to their strengths and create more goalscoring opportunities for the team."

Meanwhile, Glassner also pointed out the areas that the team needs to improve on the defensive end, "We have been the side that conceded the first goal in the last few games, and that really needs to be taken seriously. But I also believe that we can change that if we can capitalize on our chances and score efficiently."

Finally, Glasner expressed his expectations for the match, "Manchester United is a very strong team, but we are also confident of beating them at home. We need to play our best and bring a great game to our fans."
