
All three teams representing the Chinese Super League failed to win their matches in the second round of the 2022/23 AFC Champions League group stage. Shandong Taishan, Wuhan Sanzhen and Zhejiang all suffered defeats.
Yokohama Mariners won 1-0 at the home of Shandong Taishan, in a match where the opponents broke through the Taishan goal in the first half through a combination of forward play, and the visitors eventually gained the three points. Shandong Taishan finished the group stage with one win and one loss, and placed third in the group.
