Escaping Riyadh Crescent created an opportunity for Neymar to attack in the 37th minute. After receiving a lateral pass from a teammate, the Brazilian phenom's shot hit the bottom of the defender's line. Damac, who was looking for an equalizer before halftime, once again left the visiting fans in a cold sweat. Shafai's header from close range was full of threat. Luckily for Riyadh Crescent, Bunu put on a show to help Riyadh Crescent go back to the locker room with a one-goal lead.
At the beginning of the second half, Riyadh Crescent still maintained the momentum of high-pressure offense.
