After the second phase of the Chinese Super League restarted, Shandong Taishan have been playing among the best in the league. They recently won their third consecutive Chinese Super League match to return to second place in the league.

Taishan's recent performance has been excellent. Apart from the good coaching of coach Choi Kang-hee, this also has a lot to do with the excellent performance of several foreigners in the team. Fellaini scored in two consecutive matches and new foreign striker Pato scored his first Chinese Super League goal since joining Shandong Taishan in the last round of the league.

Another Brazilian midfielder, Moises, has been in surprisingly good form lately. In the last round of Shandong Taishan's match with Meizhou Hakka, Mo scored two goals and assisted once, which was the best performance among the three foreigners.

So far, Moises has scored four goals and seven assists this season. Such an outstanding performance has also led many Shandong fans to call on Shandong Taishan to extend Moises' contract as soon as possible, as his contract with the club will expire at the end of this year.

However, Taishan FC has no plans to renew Moises' contract at the moment. Recently, some media outlets revealed that some Barclays Premier League teams are contacting Moises' agent in the hope that they can waive the Brazilian veteran's visa when his contract with Taishan expires at the end of the year. Moises seems to be ready. If he cannot renew his contract with Taishan FC, he will return to play soccer in Barclays Premier League next year.

Moises, 35, joined Shandong Taishan in the summer of 2019. He has now played for the team for four years. In the past four seasons, he has scored 29 goals and contributed 35 assists for Taishan. His 64-goal performance contributed greatly to the team's winning of one Chinese Super League title and three FA Cup titles.

In addition, Moises has the right professional attitude. He trained aggressively off the field and didn't slack off. On the court, he did his best for the team's victory. Therefore, Moises is also affectionately called "model worker" by Shandong fans.

While there is nothing wrong with Moises' ability and attitude, he will turn 36 next year. This age is a bit too old for the competitive Chinese Super League. Therefore, Taishan club did not make up their mind to sign a new contract with Moises again.

However, this does not mean that Moises will leave Shandong Taishan next season. Referring to the 36-year-old Fellaini under Choi Kang-hee, he is still the absolute mainstay of the Taishan team. If the club can't find a suitable new foreigner, Moises can still maintain his best form and Taishan is still hopeful of signing him for another year. Let's wait and see what the club executives will decide!
